Trauma Recovery Coaching is specifically designed to address a traumatic event(s) a client has had in their life. Trauma is defined by the individual. It can involve one major event, but can also involve caregiver interactions and insecure attachment styles an individual experienced as a child. For example, a child being raised in a home where they feared their caregiver represents a form of trauma.  A child's emotional or psychological needs not being met in childhood is a form of developmental trauma.  Trauma Recovery Coaches have extensive training and knowledge surrounding how trauma affects the whole person. We realize those who experience a traumatic event don't have "right" or "wrong" reactions; instead trauma survivors have normal reactions to abnormal events.

Coaches help their clients to have the freedom to choose the life they love to live. Often, clients are already working with psychologists, psychiatrists and other mental health care providers but Coaches add an extra layer of support, on a peer to peer level.

I look forward to connecting with you.

Trauma Recovery Coaches work with trauma survivors to help them understand the recovery process, supporting them while they reconnect with themselves and the world around them. We support our clients in setting recovery goals while utilizing several tools including psychoeducation, pertinent resources, validation and compassion. Trauma informed coaches provide a safe place for their clients to process their emotions and traumatic events.

Our goal is to help our clients use their strengths to build a life they love living.

An individual that has been impacted from trauma can benefit from trauma coaching.

Trauma looks different for everyone.  Some clients set recovery goals surrounding events that happened in their childhood, while others work towards recovery from more recent events.
Coaches utlize an array of tools including Polyvagal theory, attachment theory, and PMAP.
Coaches follow safety protocols to ensure every client receives the care they need to cope with behaviors that threaten their health and well-being. We use our training to help our clients recover from the aftereffects of trauma.
